Who are We?
Mt. Laurel Basketball is a non-profit volunteer organization responsible for organizing and managing the youth basketball program in association with Mt. Laurel Township. It is open to residents of Mount Laurel and Hainesport Townships for boys and girls in grades K through 12. Both a normal winter league season (November through March) and an abbreviated summer league season (June through August) are run each year. The winter league includes instructional leagues for grades K-2, intramural leagues for grades 3-12, and travel leagues for grades 4-8.
What is our Mission?
Mt. Laurel Basketball is dedicated to providing an opportunity for all children to participate in and learn the game of basketball. Even though the league is competitive and winning is a goal for which all teams should strive (at most age groups), the emphasis is still on having fun and making this an enjoyable experience for everyone. We are committed to assuring that the principles of sportsmanship, fair play, skill development, and mutual respect among players, coaches, officials, and spectators are adhered to.
Refund Policy
If your child attends a tryout/evaluation – assessed a $10 fee.
If your child tries out for a travel team and does not make one, you can request a refund if your child does not want to play on an intramural team. However, you will be assessed a $45 administrative fee. If your child makes a travel team and your child does not want to play on that particular team, no refund will be issued.
For all other players, our refund policy is such that you can request a full refund before October 31st for Winter. After Oct 31st, all leagues and team counts will be formed, insurance paid for everyone and uniforms ordered and we must assess a $45 per player fee to cover all charges related to your child that we incur. Once teams are formed no refunds will be issued. Email info@mtlaurelbasketball.org to request a refund.
High School Varsity, JV, and Freshman Refund Policy
Anyone who tries out for, and makes a High School Varsity, JV, or Freshman team will receive a full refund if they have already registered for a Mount Laurel Basketball Intramural league. Requests for refunds should be sent to info@mtlaurelbasketball.org
